What are the different between bond and equity crowdfunding

Modified on Fri, 9 Aug at 11:36 AM

PeerPower offers 2 products including Crowdfunding bond and Crowdfunding equity. The key differences between the 2 products include:

  •  In Crowdfunding bond investments, investors are 'creditors' of the funded company and will receive returns in the form of interests.

  • For Crowdfunding equity, investors are 'shareholders', or in other words 'owners' of a portion of the business depending on the investment ratios and will receive returns in the form of stock, dividend (if apply) and profits from capital gains in the future.
